I am on Xbox and would like to play online with a couple of friends who would need to play together on 1 Xbox. I know that local coop and online coop are possible, but I am not sure whether 2 players using split screen coop can simultaneously be playing online with others. Thanks for your help.

Split screen game play is a local co-op only function. Online co-op and local co-op operate separately. Thank you for asking though! :)
